Was awoken by mom at 12…haha…quite eary still for me….i can like sleep till 2 if no one disturbs me or off my air con…anyway she called me up to bathe and get ready to go shopping for my costume for the guitar concert…

First stop….IMM…I dont know why she brought me there but ya i was there and we began with Giant…found pants… found shirt….YEA…. but not my size….ended up buying some sort of nut for cornflakes…then went out of Giant and into a shop that sells shoes…saw many leather shoes…like one a lot but there isnt my size..dissapointed…. went into a shop that sells shirts called F.O.S…hoping that there is the white long sleeved shirt and long black pants…pants…not my size..shirt yes…a little too small… not satisfied with the shirt so ended up not buying it but bought a shirt for casual wear that i like and it was so big…haha…so delighted to find a shirt that is so big

Next stop….Westmall since it was quite nearby(we were at jurong in case u didnt know where IMM is) and there is a BATA outlet…might be able to find shoes there…saw tom and stefanie store… went inside…wow so many shirts and pants…took 5 long sleeved whit shirts to try on in fitting room ignoring the sign on the door saying" max 3 pieces of clothing allowed" and a lady who was staring at me…1 by 1 i put it on and i took it off…in the end not even 1 was big enough…the one in F.O.S was like much bigger…beginning to regret…Then we went to Bata saw so many leather shoes….like so many of them and after like staying for 40 mins and trying countless pairs only 1 is big enough….and guess what? it is priced at 100 bucks..thats like damn expensieve considering the fact that i m just buying it for a concert and would only be wearing it for like maybe 3 times…quite reluctantly…my mother told the staff to reserve it for us at another outlet as there is a bigger size at the other outlet….

3rd and last stop(finally)…bukit timah shopping centre….surprised why am i going to such a rundown shopping centre that doesnt even look like 1…well here’s the answer…to visit my tailor the same one i have for my school U…have no choice but to turn to a tailor to have the costume done….haizz…i asked whether they sell white long sleeved shirt and surprisingly they said yes and it’s only 12 dollars…so darn cheap la…and what more there is my size…hahaha..but then the pants is x…50 for one pair…worth it? what do u think? anyway made measurements and rushed to the car as mom did not put coupon…passed by a shop…mum decided to try for one last time..asked the old lady whether there is my size for the leather shoes displayed….in less than like 5 secs the old lady turned up with a pair that looks big…without any further ado i put it on…and it went in……yes it did….i can wear that shoe…..finally….and what more it was only 55… 45 bucks cheaper than the one in Bata….thtas why there is a saying old ginger is still the hottest( a direct translation frm chinese)

What a day….and i still would not be able to have the ful atire by thurs…the tailor said the fastest is 10 days….omg….hopefully some of them also cant get their attire by thurs…i dont want to be the only one in uniform…..

Woke up at 5.45 am in mind to go for track and field training and guitar training…… brought along my guitar as it was seriously out of tune & i had absolutely no idea how to tune it and hope that the trainer Mr francis would tune it for me as i need it desperately for practise…but it didnt turn out like what i planned and expected it to be….as usual took 190 to school and arrived in school at 7.55, was surprised to see so many sec 4s in the canteen…went to the foyer…coach and throwers were M.I.A only TAF club members were there,saw wenlin,justin and sijie(he was weird…never say hello to me and keep pacing up and down at the statue area…not with all the other boys….i think he’s quite unsociable).Suddenly saw a group of sec 4s taking the chinese dics and notes walkin past me and overheard their conv and found out that it was GCE O level Mother tongue exam today….How blurr can i be..anyway hoping that training would still be on as if it is cancelled that means i have to go back home…went to the noticeboard and there it was imprinted in big words,track and field training on 29/5/2006 is postponed to 30/5/2006 there will be no training for everybody….But i still refused to believe it and went back to the foyer and waited while talking to justin and wenlin(they were also tuning my guitar but hmmm…they cant really tune it..sorry) finally i decided to give up and face the reality that there would be no training…wanted to stay in school but guitar rehearsal is still 5 hrs away…not very logical and smart to wait for 5 hrs doin nothin but listening to my mp3 right? So i calculated,minusing the time for travelling i will have 3 hours to do something be it sleep or play com or watch tv at home..quite worth it hur?..so i carried my guitar all the way back home…

Reach home switched on the tv.. nothin nice…went to play com(SIMS2 most ppl would say wa liew play this kind of game lame la but i beg to differ… i find it v. interstin and it gives a sense of satisfaction when my sim gets a promotion or has a new girl).Have a quick lunch and left house for school(again)….slept on the bus..was too tired..slept at 1 and woke up at 5.45…when i woke up saw reuben and realised that we were late..heck care la…when we reached LT3..a guitar concert video is playing…settled down to watch…quit nice..good skills…dur..they were the pros…after that practice began…. practiced Que sera sera over and over again( Yea XD i finally got the whole song) then it was something stupid…at the end of the day only Que sera sera was done something stupid was left hanging in "midair"..received the news that we need to be in our costumes on thursdays rehearsal at Katong convent..which is white long sleeved shirt, black long pants and black leather shoes…and the fact is i have none of them…die la…muz get ready by thursday means i have to buy it by wed… really worried that there isnt my size for the black pants at department stores..that means i need to tailored pants…which sure wouldnt be ready by thurs….oh god help me… i will sure look damn weird in that attire…***imaginning***…yucks..eeeewwww….

So much of a coinicidence, I met Junjia on the way to kallang on the MRT. I thought he didnt see me( Quite foolish of me I’m so big how can that be possible)and when i noticed that he was on the train, i was thinking of scaring him later when the train is not that packed but all of a sudden i received a sms from him…. Shit la…Anyway we got off together at commonwealth station to meet bill,kenneth,aloysius and some others.When we got off,saw Bill sittin there and found out that aloy is making his way there himself & we r supposed to wait for kenneth. Then suddenly, Benjamin came appeared…Oh well…And so we waited, more and more MRTs passed us but kenneth was still nowhere to be seen…Finally we have no choice but to get on a train to kallang( after waiting for more than half and hour and missing 13 trains). And because of that, we were late and when we arrived at the kallang water sports centre, almost everybody was there already,listening to Mr Arul gining instructions…wat a bad start…

And true enough the whole dragonboat race was a disaster for Michael house. Being in  Micheal house, I wasnt spared from it. I participated in the 24 man boat full of confidence thinking that we will win like we did last year…Michael house dominated the race last yr..winning 6 out of 8 races and i got a gold medal. But it all turned out wrong, as soon as i got into the boat and we started rowing…i had a strong feeling somehow that we will lose. The whole boat has no coordination at all… the front was rowing at their own timing and the middle was rowing at their own timing…. it was chaotic… and me being the one most behind absolutelty have no idea who to follow….As soon as the race has started, all the other 3 boats were in front and ahead of us…And i think lawrence won at last. And needless to say we lost and what is more infuriating is that we came in last,losing to Marcian’s boat where there are only 12 rowers where we have lile 20. We lost not because that our boat is weak( how can that possibly be we have the 3 giants from 208 haha) we lost due to the lack in teamwork and coordination…the whole boat has no coordination at all…the right and the left…the front and the middle…and that guy in front of me(i think its wilson from 204 not v. sure) he didnt even put effort into rowing la…didnt even want to stretch out and use strength..what an idiot..

Overall Michael house lost pathetically to Fintan House. From last year’s champion to last this year… from winning 6 races to not even 1…I believe everyone from Michael was feeling lousy…And all of a sudden the song Perfect by simple plan came to  mind…

Anyway after that I’m supposed to go and meet my "new" classmates from 335 at cineleisure for movie…and ya its X Men…at 12, but due to the fact that i was " very clean and nice smelling" I decided to go home and have a shower before meeting them…So i took the MRT from Kallang all the way back to Yew Tee and went back to have a shower and change into something more suitable for movie… So I met up with Yinglun,Junjie,Shawn,Daryl and Reuben at CCK interchange and they made wait for them for half and hour…anyway i forgive them b cos i m a very magnanimous person…everyone knows that…hahahaha…We got on the bus and proceed to Cineleisure

On the way there, we received a call that the movie venue had been changed to Plaza Sing..haha..even better no need to walk…hehe…then when we got off at Doby Ghaut we received a call that the movie is now at Lido..I was like wth…waste my time and money…so we took Mrt back to Orchard and something v. funny happened to Ying lun…when he wanted to take his wallet out of his pocket so that he can board the train he found out that his zip was stuck…I tried pulling for him… and ended up pullin his pants down and exposing his underwear..Oops…He tried for so long but to no avail so in the end he had no choice but to pock a hole ,with the help of a key, in the inside of his pants to make a hole large enough for his wallet to be taken out…haha…

So we arrived at Lido and met up with Nabhan,Elian,Wesley and Ting Soon.Overall, the movie X Men was not too bad quite nice… the com effects were great and sound too..the speaker was blasting at my ear….Considering that i didnt catch the 1st and 2nd movie…I found it quite nice…dont know bout the earlier ones…all i can say is that 2 major characters died…ya the good ones…. the bad ones… i didnt count…Catch it if u can.. not a bad one…

Overall the day was quite okay for me…i really wished that we will have more 335 class outings…So that there will be newer & greater bonds in the class….I think there will be one more movie outing this june….should be over the hedge…Not forgetting 208… i also really hope that there will be gatherings/outings coming up this june holis…

Yea…. The long anticipated june holidays are finally here…..

Time for us to take a break from the stressful term we had and the gruelling exams, tests and assignments we had to endure….

But my holis are still bombarded with activities…..

Intensive guitar training had been scheduled so as to get us ready for 2 upcoming important concert.First there is The taming game which happens on the 7 of July and 8 July. It is a collablorative drama production between CHIJ Katong convent and SJI.Wondering why me being a guitarist is performing in a drama night… actually we are like extras…. most probably will be performing after the break while the actors have time to change( this is my assumption).But it is still a performance and we r taking it very serious as this is a rare opportunity to perform and get us mentally prepared for the upcoming LABOR AMORIS. I was glad that we would be performing on KC drama night as we wont have to pay 25 bucks just for that like 2 hr drama which i m certainly not interested in…I feel sad for all the Sec 2s 3s and 4s(not involved in the drama) that are forced to pay and go for the drama.And wat is bad is that we have to perform at all the 3 different shows. By the way just a little info and ad on LABOR AMORIS. It is a guitar concert jointly organised by 2 guitar ensemble clubs from Catholic Junior College and SJI happening on the 14 of July which is 1 week after the KC thing. It will mainly be a guitar concert so this time, we r the main attraction…haha..anyway there will be combined big pieces involving like 30 ppl and also smaller groups/solo items too… not sure whether there will be like bands performing but there is a high chance that there will be songs sang by some of us….I m so nervous and excited when thinking bout Labor amoris as this is counted 1 of our own guitar concert…and the fact that we are still not that familiar with the intended pieces we r playing( and there might be more pieces to come) just gives me the shudder. Anyway we still have to buy our own white long sleeve shirts,black panta and leather shoes and i m sure that i will look weird in it… oh god save me…..

There is also the LLTC(lasallian leadership training camp) happening on the 19 to 23rd of June.It is basically an annual camp that trains potential leaders among the school community recognised by their teachers. It is quite a prestigious camp in fact the most and i m so glad that i will be part of it. It’s weird that i got in through my 2nd cca..guitar ensemble….and that means i might stand a chance to become president nxt yr…shiok ah… i really hope that it will be fun lor and it is the longest camp so far 5 days 4 nights.Heard that there will be daily morning 4.8km run…omg….i hope that this is not true…..it will be a nightmare…

Anyway there is interhouse dragonboat tomorrow…..

I hope that we will win both 12 men and 24 men

last yr only won one…haizz…all bcos of that boy who contols the direction of the boat la…he made the boat go in the wrong direction…we were supposed to go straight but we ended up goin to the shore….Hope that i will bring back 2 medals and Michael must dominate again…..

My holis are also full of homework and assignments….haizz projects and projects…its so vexing….

despite all the busy schedules, i still hope that there will still be the usual stayovers at gabriel’s house la…hope that it will happen cos everyone is like so busy this holis…haizz…just hope for the best….

I m still very new to this and being new, i seriouly need time to learn how to manage it properly and currently i seriously have no time so a proper blog will most probably be available only during the holis.Once again sorry….but soon, soon a real blog will come into shape

Projects projects and projects….Can teachers stop bombarding us with all these projects ??The various science UBDs,IPW,SS and many more.I see no point in all these projects…will it help us? I certainly dont think so.

Anyway life after exams are quite fun(not taking the numerous projects deadline into consideration). First and most foremost, getting back the results are so fun(provided if u get good results haha).Overall this term’s result is not too bad in fact v. good if u compare this term with last term’s.

Its considered v. good with u compare it with the disastrous results last term.Overall percentage last term 51 percent …. imagine how bad it is and total no.of subjects fail 4. I think i will most probably not be down for PTM…. what can tracy goh say?? I didnt fail any subject & my percentage improved by a whopping 11 percent.Although there is certainly still many room for improvements.

Thereafter came the SJI Annual Cross-Country Run which happened on the 18 of May. The whole thing turned out quite okay for me(considering the fact that i am doing this for the 3rd time). It started off well as gabriel,lennon and I were right in front of the whole sec 3 and 4 cohort but the duo went too fast and i couldnt catch up with them. I was like laggin then after for like maybe i think 5 mins? i started to walk like i always do. Oh ya…walking along with me was adrian and chee kiong.We were like strolling while more and more peo went pass us. When we finally reached the expressway not many peo were still behind maybe like around a 100 or more.Constantly checking the watch for the time, we began to panick when we realised we still have quite a distance more to cover. But it was all unnecessary,in the end i managed to come in just in the nick of time….whoosh…and i actually managed to overtake 2 of the sec1s and the rearrunners of the lower sec.Can u believe that? haha….losers…
