I m just here to vent out once and for all what i want to say for Singapore Idol…
I dont like Jonathan Leong….but i dont hate him either…cos he is an ex-josephian….i dont see why he have so many fans….all those siao cha bos….He is ugly…i mean honestly….and i dont think he has a nice voice….i m just puzzled why girls are crazy over him…is he charming??? Is he cool??? to me he isnt….
An yway they shouldnt have singapore idol in the first place….and I seriously hope that this show will not be telecast outside this island…cos if it is…it is VERY embarrassing….what is singapore idol compared to AMerican idol….nothing…not to mention even Malaysian Idol is much better than Singapore idol…honestly having singapore idol (to produce and provide a platform for hidden talents) is everything but that(in the brackets)….To me its more like disgracing us singaporeans….FACE it…we cant beat the westerners…thats a FACT…See what happened to Taufik? one album….1 song I dream and he’s gone….no news….its like there is no future for singapore idol….as there isnt a market in the first place…there is only the local market which is very very small….where else can the singapore idol go? Malaysia…perhaps…. America…ya right…no way..how can he/she compete with those blondes and blacks….anyone in history…the answer is NO…. so what?? just get trapped in singapore…and thats it…
And anyway singaporeans in general are deaf….DEAF i mean it….they are deaf as they dont know what’s music…and who can sing…they just blindly vote for looks….and Mediacorp has been stressing that Singapore idol is A SINGING competition….votes should b cast on singing NOT looks NOT popularity….But singing…and what week after week(both season1 and 2) those good singers have been voted out one by one and whats left is those who cant really hold a tune….Like say in Mathilda’s case….She is easily the best singer u can find in the 2 seasons…and what??? she is voted out….when there is still so many ppl in the competiton who cant hold a tune….I m sure u know who are the few i m toking about….Its like they have been emphasizing that its a singing competition…and pls vote wisely….but singaporeans(majority) are deaf…they still dont vote for talent….Its either u dont vote or vote correctly….Voting should not be based on looks….like whats been happening….why cant just singaporeans wisen up…..look at the american idols…..Is taylor hicks exactly good looking? Ruben studdard? Fantasia barrino? but they still won the competiton bcos they can sing….ANd most importantly Americans are not deaf and appreciate talents and are not superficial…..
While the chinese singing competition like the project superstar should continue…..as there is a market out there for them….they can go to taiwan,china,hongkong and malaysia…there’s a big market out there for them to explore and venture….and statistics have shown….that singaporean singers can make it big outside singapore….the best example….Stefanie Sun….shw won countless award overseas…beating taiwanese singers,china singers at taiwan or china radiocharts….clinching the best female singer and bla bla bla….she have brought glory to singapore….Can the singapore idol achieve this??? can he/she be going to america and cliniching the best vocal??? the answer is a obvious NO….even the malays have at least malaysia and indonesia to go to….So i just feel that singapore idol is a waste of resources and waste of time….but if u dont think big and think far like i did….just watching some singaporeans make a fool of themselves isnt too bad a thing either…..

Anyway i have just realised that there is 2 different shades between the one u clicked and the one u didnt( call me slow…fine i am…i saw it in yahoo too) and i m so surprised that ppl do visit my blog….or rather clicked my blog…WOW…so thaddeus shuddup….i have more than 2 and the half ppl visiting my blog….HAHAHAHHAHA i m ecstatic…So to all u sexy ppl out there(sounds familiar???who does this remind u of???)who visits my blog pls do leave comments in the comments section below every post….Just to identify urself…cos if u have been visitng..u realised there isnt a tag board…frienster sucks i know but I dont know how to use html..so I have to stick with it till i learn and that will probably be december hols…
