don’t worry you’ll do fine you just have to accept what has been done and move on. you just need to pass english and 2 other subjects. You are definitely far more capable than that since your chinese teacher loves you oh so much…haha. Always remember just by having confidence you’ve already won half of your battle

TO GAB: Are you kiddin me the only IJ with true spirit is the original CHIJ SECONDARY (TOA PAYOH) haha. Well actually IJ aand SJI spirit are both strong, the IJ spirit maybe stronger i guess but it’s going off second by second, day by day, year by year and many girls past and present are worried.
I wonder how it’s gonna turn out when i’m gone…maybe the new principal will change things and i hope she does…after all she is an ex IJ girl. I don’t know if it’s true but your school spirit is at least growing every second.SIGH

IJTP was not the original CHIJ… CHIJMES was (pronounced chimes) and is now a historical place, somewhat like Old SJI (Singapore Arts Museum)…
Other than that, I supposed IJTP is the new school spirit on the block, with spunk and all…

ok ppl HERITAGE lesson time…
CHIJMES was the first convent in singapore then the IJ sisters wanted to reach out to the poorest girls so they rejected independence then they shifted to TP. That’s why it’s called IJ TP. Well SJI accepted independence that’s why it’s erm independent haha

Lasallian brothers and IJ sisters both came to Singapore aboard La Julie, to set up schools in South East Asia.
The first school were set up very near each other at Bras Basah, where SJI and CHIJMES were situated.
Talk about Heritage lesson…
Independence was much later, as was the founding of IJTP (about fifty yrs later) and so that’s not really the BEGINNING…

yeah i know but the entrance exam is for sec2’s and 3’s who want to go SJI not the international school…the exams for the international school are some time next week or the week after…

It was for both, if I’m not wrong, cuz there were girls there too, I saw them in the hall, but girls can’t take an entrance exam for SJI, now can they?
And I don’t see Sam Bran that often (actually I’ve only seen her once in real life), but I see Nat quite often though…
Doesn’t matter lah, I don’t NEED to see it, but it would be nice =) (esp since SOMEONE did it…)

hey people maybe the exams were for both SJI and the international so instead of making it on 2 days it would be more convenient if it were on 1 day. Damn i wish i were younger then i could try the exam and go to the international school hahaha

The exams were on both days, so maybe those who couldn’t make it on one day could go for the other? Doesn’t necessarily have to be separated right?
